How to attend

No booking is needed. Check in before entering. Entry may be limited and queues may form when busy. Cats must remain in their cages.

The city notice does not state an admission fee. Ask the city or NDN about any adoption-related costs.

Important notes

Co-hosted by the Niigata City Animal Welfare Center and Niigata Animal Network (NDN), which have different adoption processes and terms. Applications for city-center cats are followed by a later pre-adoption class and interview; adult cats may have a trial period of up to two weeks. The city recommends parking lot 2, free for up to 90 minutes. The map pin is a reference for the facility, not the hall entrance. Check the city's latest notice before travelling, as dates may change.
