How to attend
No advance application is needed. Staff will ask about the prospective home and care environment. Animals cannot be handed over on the day. Confirm each registered group's adoption requirements directly.
The city notice does not state an admission fee. If an adoption proceeds, vaccination, spay/neuter or treatment costs may be requested. Confirm any costs with the registered group.Important notes
The city lists Kani-san's Nyamily, Saino Neko and Kawaguchi Animal Support as the cat groups expected on November 21. A donation box accepts unopened dog or cat food within its best-before date, unused pet sheets (the outer package may be open), and unused cat litter. It does not accept non-pet items or opened or expired food. Donations go to local animal-welfare groups. Parking is limited; check the city's latest notice before travelling.
