Akashi Animal Center cat adoption fair at Hyogo Correctional Exhibition
Akashi Animal Center
Date & time
Sunday, October 11, 2026 9:30 AM–12:00 PM
Venue
Kobe Prison (Hyogo Correctional Exhibition)
120 Okubocho Morita, Akashi, Hyogo
How to attend
The venue is Kobe Prison, not the center. Booking, participating cats, costs and documents are not specified; ask 078-918-5797. Normal adoption involves intake, an interview and registration; attendance alone does not approve adoption.
Important notes
Cats are cared for by the city center. The cat fair runs 09:30–12:00, not until the exhibition's 15:00 finish. Exact reception point, coordinates and same-day handover are unverified. City notice confirms the cat fair; Akashi Tourism Association confirms the year and address. Recheck before travelling.
